Kansas Specialty Crop Growers Association (KSCGA) is a 501(c)(5) organization working to advance specialty crops—and specialty crop growers—in the state of Kansas. KSCGA is focused on expanding and supporting a network of growers equipped with the resources, education, and mentoring necessary to increase production, visibility, market reach, and profitability.

With the support of our grower members, KSCGA continues to expand our capacity in:

  • Grower Networking and Support:

    • Private Facebook Group—with active involvement of over 200 growers throughout the state sharing and seeking information and advice (make sure you’re up to date on your membership. to participate)

    • KSCGA has received overwhelmingly positive response around initial trial demonstrations on our online grower directory/networking system is anticipated to be up and running January 2025—with orientation during the January 10 KSCGA Annual Meeting. The KSCGA grower/market directory will offer opportunities to search and connect with growers and markets across the state, seek support and information from experienced growers, find markets for your product (and produce for your market), and more. Watch for info on our public trial period roll-out soon.

  • Outreach and Education: Our mailing outreach of over 350 growers, markets, and industry rep’s offers info on grower efforts and innovations across the state, training and educational opportunities, current grant opportunities, and much more. KSCGA is working with our partners in promoting and developing workshops and tours addressing areas of interest for our grower members.

  • Unified Voice: Collective efforts to increase resources for Kansas specialty crop growers

  • Research and Development: KSCGA and its grower members actively work with researchers in staying on the cutting edge of new crop varieties, growing practices, sales and marketing platforms, and more.

KSCGA members also receive discounts on purchases and services with our Business Supporters—and we continue to reach out to more businesses and services to offer KSCGA member discounts.
